The aromatic Hojicha powder, made from finely ground, roasted Hojicha leaves, which are increasingly finding enthusiasts in Japan. It impresses with a pleasantly smoky aroma and a uniquely nutty-caramel flavor. In contrast to Matcha, Hojicha contains less caffeine due to the roasting process, making it enjoyable at any time of the day – whether in the morning, afternoon, or evening.
- This Hojicha powder consists of 100% ground organic Hojicha leaves. It is made from finely roasted tea leaves from the traditional tea-growing regions of Kyoto and Kagoshima Prefecture in Japan, which are renowned for their high tea quality.

A hojicha latte can be prepared in a similar way to a matcha latte. The hojicha powder is mixed with water and milk - be it cow's milk or a plant-based alternative - to achieve a creamy texture. The latte can be enjoyed both hot and cold. To do this, the powder is either mixed well with a milk frother or traditionally with a chasen and sweetened as required before enjoying.
