In our Niche Questionnaire she reveals her best beauty hack, her favourite Instagram filter and why she wouldn't be bored without Instagram.
1. Your personal philosophy of life?
My first priority in life is family. If my family is happy, then so am I. Besides, you should not take everything in life so terribly seriously.
2. And where is the next journey going?
Next it goes on in Milan with the 'Fashion madness'. I love the Fashion Week weeks of the year. I switch to an absolute work fashion and love to see all the familiar faces again!
3. Which product can I bring along?
What I should never miss are my hyaloron drinks from Regulat Beauty. I drink a small bottle every day, which has become an absolute health routine. I also like to take eye pads for the flight, lipstick for a good look and my favourite fragrance to feel fresh.
I also always have my favourite fragrance with me.
4. What does beauty mean to you?
Beauty is very versatile for me and starts with the inner beauty. I don't think Beauty is an accessory, because if you don't have a good heart, you can't be Beauty either.
Beauty is also a part of the daily routine and how you deal with your skin and whether you drink enough water, have a moisturizer or a hairbrush with you. Funnily enough, I always have five or six lipsticks and hair oil with me, because sometimes it's dry, especially in the city or on the plane.
5. Which Instagram filter is recommended or which foundation creates this effect in real life?
I don't like to use too many filters. With Instagram, I sometimes put a light filter over my pictures and stories that just makes the light a little warmer. So I always give a light holiday feeling and my skin looks fresher and more even.
At Foundations I like to test myself, but especially my Foundation Stick by Westman Atelier brings fresh glow to my face every day!
6. Who is a beauty icon?
I love Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. She is just an inspiration for me, she has a beautiful face, great hair and just an amazing charisma. I also love what she communicates. She is an entrepreneur, power woman and a loving mother. My picture of a beauty icon!
7. And heroes in real life?
In real life I look up very much to my parents. They have always wanted and done the very best for me and I love to give them all back today.
8. What makes you happy?
I love spending quality time with my family. I travel a lot and all over the world, that it is worth gold for me to be at home with my loved ones. Family vacations are also times when I am simply happy. I love being a mum!
9. Is there a life-changing beauty hack for you?
Lipstick is definitely something that has changed my mood day by day! Funnily enough, I always have five or six lipsticks with me. I think it's great to apply a different color every day and express my mood with it. I also love noodle shades, they always go and fit every look and outfit.
A great hack for me is also hair oil, which I always have with me. Always works against apparently dry hair, especially in the city or on the plane.
10. A Beauty No-go?
I think it's very bad if you emphasize your eyebrows wrongly or too strongly. In earlier years I couldn't do that so well either. Meanwhile I love a well emphasized, but naturally made-up brow. If you paint the eyebrows too dark and above all too angular, it changes the whole face in my opinion.
11. Which brand at NB was a real discovery?
I discovered the Aesop brand through Niche Beauty and love its hand cream, for example! With hand cream, I never have dry hands again, even if it gets colder outside again. Aesop Hand Cream moisturizes and soothes my skin for several hours.
12. If you weren't an influencer, what would be a professional alternative?
If I wasn't an influencer, there are several things I would do. I studied International Business and Marketing, but it wasn't really my world. A little later, between my modeling jobs in Asia and Europe, I studied fashion management. I loved painting as a girl, so I always wanted to be a designer, a musician or a dancer. That was always my direction and as an influencer I am now Art Director and Creative Director at the same time.
13. Where in the world would you imagine living?
I loved living in Hong Kong back then. It's such a vibrant city and you can feel life there no matter what time of day you go out on the street. My husband and I now spend a lot of time with the children in Italy and love to go on holiday there. I think I would certainly find many beautiful places there where I could imagine living!
