- Vitamin D: It is primarily known for its classical role in bone metabolism, as it contributes to the maintenance of normal bones, but it is also an essential factor in immune defense. - Turmeric & Black Pepper: The branded raw material Curcumin C3 Complex® used is standardized and clinically proven. In combination with black pepper, which is contained as an extract in the form of the branded raw material Bioperine®, the bioavailability of turmeric is increased so that it can be better absorbed by the body. Curcumin C3 Complex® and BioPerine® are registered trademarks and patented products of Sabinsa.
- Ginger & Eucalyptus: The rhizome of the ginger plant contains essential oils and several pungent substances, and eucalyptus is also known for the essential oils it contains. Together they round off the preparation sensibly.
- Biogena dietary supplement capsules contain only first-class raw materials. All ingredients used are strictly selected according to quality and purity criteria, sustainability and scientific documentation. They come from certified suppliers around the world and have good bioavailability.
- Food supplements in the EU are subject to the strict legal requirements of food law (EU-wide there is a specific Food Supplements Directive, which is implemented in national regulations).
- Biogena is committed to the principle of pure substances. This means that unnecessary additives as well as auxiliary substances that are used for reasons of appearance or taste (artificial flavors, colorings, coatings, etc.) are avoided. The pure substance principle is made possible by the semi-automatic manufacturing process, which also makes it possible to do without technological additives (e.g. release agents).
- The capsule shells are made of undyed vegetable hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, the so-called Vcaps® Plus. These capsule shells dissolve quickly in the gastrointestinal tract, so the ingredients are quickly available for absorption. Vcaps® Plus are vegan and Halal and Kosher certified. Vcaps® Plus is a trademark of Lonza or its affiliates, registered in the USA.
- The packaging is made of Green PE, a by-product of the food industry produced from sugar cane. This environmental responsibility saves Biogena 100 tons of CO₂ emissions per year, while sugar cane is a very good CO₂ filter in nature.
- Biogena products are manufactured in Salzburg, Germany and Switzerland. The entire manufacturing process is ISO 22000:2005 certified.
