- The capsule shells are made of undyed vegetable hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, the so-called Vcaps® Plus. These capsule shells dissolve quickly in the gastrointestinal tract, so the ingredients are quickly available for absorption. Vcaps® Plus are vegan and Halal and Kosher certified. Vcaps® Plus is a trademark of Lonza or its affiliates, registered in the USA.
- The packaging is made of Green PE, a by-product of the food industry produced from sugar cane. This environmental responsibility saves Biogena 100 tons of CO₂ emissions per year, while sugar cane is a very good CO₂ filter in nature.
- Biogena products are manufactured in Salzburg, Germany and Switzerland. The entire manufacturing process is ISO 22000:2005 certified.
