J. F. SCHWARZLOSE BERLIN
Berlin piano maker Joachim Friedrich Schwarzlose founded a grocery store for his eleven children in 1856, became a royal purveyor to the court, expanded the range to include perfume and cosmetics, and traded internationally from 1902 until the Nazi regime ended the success story. In 2012, the company is revived by beauty insiders Lutz Herrmann (designer) and Véronique Nyberg (perfumer). With tradition as a commitment, far from any mainstream attitude, developed and handmade - not far from the historic Schwarzlose factory - in Berlin Moabit.
