Bio Matcha
Premium quality ground green tea is grown in Uji, Japan. The region is known for its clean water and nutrient-rich soil, free of pesticides. Here, the Tencha tea leaves are hand-picked, gently steamed, and then ground with granite stones. The certified organic Matcha impresses with its almost neon green color, its sweet, creamy umami taste - free of any bitterness!
Matcha contains more caffeine than coffee. The big difference: matcha unfolds its effect gently. While the caffeine in coffee enters the bloodstream within 30-45 minutes, this process lasts a whole 6 to 8 hours with matcha, which is a great advantage. Because this prevents high adrenaline and insulin surges, which only puts the body under unnecessary stress.
- Put 1 level teaspoon of matcha (2 bamboo spoons) in a matcha bowl (chawan).
- Add a little water (about 60 ml) and stir with the help of a matcha whisk (chasen) until creamy ( Z-shaped movements).
- Top up the matcha with the frothed milk and enjoy.
