- For pregnant and breastfeeding women, the intake of 450 mg EPA/DHA daily is recommended according to DVO (EU) 2017/2470. The positive effect of DHA occurs when 200 mg of omega 3 is taken daily in addition to the recommended daily intake of omega 3 for adults (250 mg DHA and EPA).
