The brains behind IRÄYE are three pioneers in their respective fields: CEO Yasmine Cherry has worked for major beauty brands and had already helped launch several hero products on the market. However, she had yet to discover skincare that she felt was effective on a deeper level.
Professor Michael Detmar and Dr Epameinondas Gousopoulos are pioneers in the field of the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system collects skin waste and transports nutrients and white blood cells that fight inflammation. Research has shown that age, stress, inflammation and UV light can damage it. The vessels then become porous and water accumulates.

Co-founders Professor Detmar and Dr Gousopoulos have studied over 2000 extracts to find natural activators for the lymphatic system. The result of their research is the Lymphactive™ Complex. This is designed to have a positive effect on lymphatic activity and stimulate the ability to repair damaged lymphatic vessels. This should mean that toxins and impurities cause less stress on the skin and dead skin cells are better shed. IRÄYE creams and serums are also designed to support skin functions such as microcirculation, immune function and nutrient absorption. This in turn should ultimately lead to a slower breakdown of collagen and elastin.
IRÄYE has set itself the goal of offering safe and effective cosmetics while also focusing on sustainability. IRÄYE skincare is free from parabens and perfume and is 100% vegan. The pump dispensers also prevent air from reaching the products. This reduces the need for preservatives and protects the formulation from external influences. This solution also counteracts product waste.
The glass bottles are refillable. Bottles, pump dispensers and lids are also recyclable. The outer packaging is made of FSC-certified cardboard.
