L'Eau Papier celebrates the power of imagination, that moment when the hand, the ink and the paper become one. An encounter that has given rise to a fragrance, unmistakably characterized by musk and its many facets. This develops and changes over time. Depending on the skin, it is expressed individually in many different nuances, just as ink on paper adapts to the structure and gives rise to dreams and images. A delicate rice steam accord underpins the musk and alludes to the grainy nature of the paper. Delicate notes of mimosa weave in. In the background, the scent of light woods grounds L'Eau Papier in matter.

For this Eau de toilette, the perfumer uses Grasse mimosa, which has been grown there since 1865. Its fluffy, bright yellow flowers offer a sunny, fragrant spectacle on the hillsides around the Provençal town of Grasse in February.
