For the Holiday season, Trudon revisits the festivities orchestrated by Louis XV at the Château de Versailles. Luxurious and splendid, these celebrations reached their peak during the Bal des Ifs, where the King disguised himself among the guests in the sumptuous Hall of Mirrors. Reflecting this dazzling array of re- flections and gilding, the Holiday scented candle collection, created in collaboration with Serdar Gülgün, is equally flamboyant.
 
The four scented candles convey a royal art de vivre. On the inside, they are covered in 24-carat gold leaf, while on the outside, a royal décor comes to life with stylized chandeliers, pendants and curtains. Marked in hot gold, the decorations frame the gold coat of arms of the Royal Manufactory. On the back of the candle, a decorative chandelier hangs over Serdar Gülgün’s signature.
 
The scanted candle Fir comes with intensely woody notes.
 

- The opulence of the collection is also visible through the richly lacquered glass: the two iconic scents Gloria and Fir come respectively in red and black lacquered glass whilst Angelo and Arosa, two exclusive creations, are adorned with emerald green and gold on gold lacquered glass.
- As Gloria is a warm and woody fragrance blended with spicy notes, Fir comes with intensely woody notes. Exclusive this season, Angelo unfolds as a comforting woody-amber scent: rich with gourmand notes of orange and cinnamon, Angelo blends cashmere wood and marron glacé before revealing musky base notes. Arosa, in turn, invites the femininity of rose and the hushed character of amber to the festivities. A true woody bouquet, its rose fragrance welcomes a rich mix of amber, sandalwood, cashmere wood and cedar notes, so tened by a light vanilla base note.
- Together, the four festive candles form a richly scented quartet that celebrates Christmas’ many exhilarating moments, whether gourmand, comforting, warm or flowery.

- In order to get the most out of your candle, burn it until the entire surface of the candle melts.
- To preserve the fragrance, do not burn your candle for more than 2 hours at a time during the first third of the candle and 1 hour at a time during the remaining.
- Do not leave candle burning unattended. Do not set in a draft. Keep away from children, curtains and pets.
- Should the wick require centering, gently readjust to correct position when the wax is still molten. Allow candle to solidify before relighting.
- Should any black smoke appear, trim the tip of the wick. It should be clean and no longer than 5mm at all times.
- Always protect the table or surface on which the candle rests (with a wood or ceramic plate, for example).
- Do not burn your candle all the way down. Always leave at least 5 mm of non-molten wax at the bottom.
- Keep your candle in a dry and temperate environment, between 60 and 80° F.
- The first use of your candle should occur within the two first months after its reception.
