All Caudalie care products are manufactured in the laboratory in France and comply with a strict guideline for naturalness called "Cosm-ethic". This is optimized every year to ensure sustainable and dedicated cosmetics. The majority of Caudalie products are vegan and the formulations contain at least 95% ingredients of natural origin.

Since 2012, Caudalie has been a member of the "1% for the Planet" network and thus contributes 1% of its worldwide turnover to organizations working to protect the environment. As the top European contributor and top beauty contributor worldwide, Caudalie will have planted over 8 million trees in 8 countries by 2021.

Choosing FSC paper or wood for our packs, wooden caps and brochures, recycled or biosourced plastic for our tubes, recycling wastewater from the Spa, using vegetable inks for our boxes, etc. We also believe that small daily actions will enable making a difference.

Caudalie sunscreen products have high biodegradability in their formulas to protect the marine environment. Therefore, neither controversial nor chemical filters such as octinoxate and octocrylene are used, which are responsible for the pollution of the oceans, among other things. Filters in the form of nanoparticles have also been removed.

The majority of Caudalie products contain innovative and patented ingredients developed in collaboration with renowned universities. The joint research has led to the discovery of unique ingredients and exclusive patents that have established Caudalie as one of the leading brands in the field of anti-aging.

The history of Caudalie started in the vineyards of Bordeaux, on the estate of the parents of the brand founder Mathilde Thomas. Founded in 1995, Caudalie is still family-owned. The heart of the brand is the famous spa "Les Sources de Caudalie". Worldwide, the brand can be experienced in 34 boutique SPAs, including in Germany.
