1. Who are you, and where does your passion for interior come from?
I am Ini Neumann. I work as an illustrator, art director, stylist, and ceramist. My passion for interior design has always been there. Already as a child, I loved to create unique places, and until today my talent lies exactly in discovering and creating such places. I did it mainly for myself; in the meantime, I do it for others as well because with Thorben at my side, I have the perfect partner. Thorben knows so much about materials and always has excellent ideas on how to get more out of a room.
2. What is your favorite room, and why?
Kitchen and bedroom. I spend most of my time there when I am at home. I love our bright, light-flooded kitchen, and I also love lying on my lap with my laptop or magazines in my bed or enjoying the evening with a book.
3. What is your ultimate interior tip?
Not listening to any tips! Interior design is something so individual and very intimate. Your home must make you feel good, protected, and secure. How that looks and how you create that feeling doesn't matter at all. What is important is that you make a place that means something to you. This has a lot to do with self-care and self-love.
4. What role does beauty play in your life?
A huge role. I have a fascination for all that is beautiful, and I am continually shaping my environment, no matter what area. If the things around me are aesthetic and have a particular order, it gives me peace of mind. For me, beauty in people is mainly created by an inner glow. If someone is authentic and has a lot of love in them, they can only be beautiful.
5. Which beauty product can you not do without in your everyday life?
Hand cream because you get dehydrated skin from pottery and sun protection factor as a day cream because I have very light skin.
