Each COOLA formula contains at least 70% certified organic, plant-based ingredients that nourish and support the skin. All products are enriched with powerful antioxidants that fight free radicals, such as red raspberry seed oil, linseed oil extract, cocoa seed extract, buriti oil and prickly pear extract. The fragrances are 100% natural, with no synthetic fragrances. The products remain free from over 1,000 questionable or harmful ingredients. COOLA is vegan and animal-free.

Unprotected sun exposure can lead to premature skin aging and wrinkling (photoaging), and suppression of the immune system. UVB rays will usually burn the superficial layers of your skin. It plays a key role in the development of skin cancer. The intensity of UVB rays vary by season, location and time of day, with 10AM to 2PM being the peak hours. Sunburned skin doesn’t just feel awful, it can cause permanent damage over time. COOLA pushes the boundaries of sun protection through unique formulas, sustainable packaging and advanced technologies. Their Daily Protection Collection goes beyond UVA and UVB protection to help mitigate the effects of blue light, infrared and pollution.

ECO-CONSCIOUS

COOLA is deeply committed to improving the health and safety of their communities, waterways, and habitats through responsible ingredient sourcing and sustainable packaging wherever possible. Over 80% of its bottles and jars are made of highly recyclable glass. Plastic is used mainly when needed for the safety and functionality of the product, in which case the brand strives to use the most eco-friendly options available. As part of its efforts to reduce plastic and its carbon footprint, all tubes are made of sustainably sourced sugar-cane resin, which is 100% recyclable. COOLA’s secondary packaging is made using recyclable materials. It has also taken steps to reduce its carbon footprint by transitioning to packaging that can be flat-packed. In total, over 75% of its packaging is fully recyclable, with the goal of making its packaging 100% recyclable by 2023.
